Avon - great or gastly?

Helloooooooo everybody!

So guess what did? I made my first proper Avon order! Three cheers for Bex anybody? I have ordered a few peices from there now and again but as this was the catalogue that went out for the late January sales and I had a bit of spare cash I thought well, why not?!

I'm not sure what the blogging kingdom's opinion is on Avon products so I'm just gonna go ahead and state mine!

Ok, so there are a few ups and downs I guess and a big issue with Avon from my behalf is you can't physically see the products before ordering them - you can't test them on your skin to see if they match your complexion, take a look at how pigmented a certain product is or see how much you generally like the product and that's just a bit of a let down I guess. I love the fact that I can do all of this and more in shops such as Superdrug or Boots and that means that I can feel satisfied before splashing out - especially if they're a little pricey too. I did infact look into this issue though and you can book an Avon party or apparently you can book someone to come around to your house so you can test the products but I think that's a bit of a waste of someone's time and effort just for me to 'umm and arr' over a few products and then to just decide that I don't really fancy getting anything from this months brochure because I know that's what I'd do or I'd feel as if it's compulsory to purchase something, which, by the way Bex it is not!

Another disadvantage of Avon I think is the looooong wait you have to ENDURE until getting your product. I ordered my products around the 20-something'th of January and my products are still no where to be seen, *sulk* I want my new make-up!

Despite all of this though there is a plus with Avon they often have deals on which I think are great for example they had a deal on when I purchased my previous order 'buy one product full price and get another for 99p' which, I'm sorry, is just an offer too good to resist.

Also - I must add otherwise I'll feel like a naggy old herbert Avon's nail polishes are some of the best I have ever - EVER used. I definatley reccommend trying it as I'm always complaining about my nails smudging but these dry in a matter of minutes. I believe I purchased some in my previous order but I can't remember - sily me! But seriously, it's £3.50 right now on their website and if you have the same problem as me and complain about nails taking FOREVER to dry and don't buy it I will probably cry.

So anyway, overall in Avon I spent just over £20 but got so many products for that amount of money, you wouldn't even believe! (reviews to come!)

What are your opinions on Avon? Have you ever bought anything from there? What did you think of the products? Don't be afraid to let me know in the comments - I'll reply, I promise!

That's all for today, have a great evening!
Byeeeee
