Fave Favorites From 2012 (Number two)

Hello everyone, today I'd like to tell you about number two on my list of five favorites!

Number two is my Match Perfection foundation by Rimmel which I have in light porcelain and Rimmel also stock in 15 other shades. Light porcelain is one of the lightest shades I believe!

Last year I was on the hunt for a perfect foundation that ACTUALLY matches my skin tone and also doesn't look streaky or cheap.

I am so glad I've found this one in November of this year (when I purchased my normal powder, click here!) It was on sale for only £4.00 in ASDA so I thought I'd grab it when we were out buying our weekly shop but I believe that this foundation you can get online or in Superdrug for £5 anyway so it's not really "breaking the bank".

I'm not ever spotty so I only ever use foundation to get rid of the redness I have on my face and YES! This one does the job perfect. Combined with my other powder foundation this is perfect and allows me to have a clean
looking finish with no dreadful streaks.

I apply this foundation every day using a foundation brush that I picked up from Primark for £1.50.. which FYI I found out works better than a sponge with this foundation!

This foundation for me also lasts all day long which is perfect for when I'm at school. The majority of the foundation's I have worn in the past have been off of my face by about 11:00am and so this is a massive plus for me.

It also gives me great coverage and doesn't leave me patchy at all.

.... I also like the little pump on the top (hehe), its better to use than some of my past foundations that are 'squeezy' bottles. And this foundation smells great too, another massive bonus!

So all in all, a win!

Thanks for reading!

  1. Definitely agree on the convenience of pumps! Nice review on the foundation, though I generally don't like Rimmel foundations on me :( They don't turn out flawless or natural looking.

    1. Yes I use a very very soft foundation brush which I bought from primark. I'm hoping to buy another one today from either superdrug or boots if they stock them xx
